Gas alarm installation considerations

(1) alarm cannot have affected the instrument work around the strong electromagnetic fields (such as high power motors, transformers).

(2) the instrument alarm is safe, sound and light show function, shall be installed where the staff is easy to see and hear, in order to eliminate the hidden danger in time.

(3) the installation height of the alarm should be in commonly 160-170 cm, in order to repair personnel for routine maintenance.

(4) alarm sensor is mainly contact burning gas sensor detecting element, by platinum silk bag of alumina and glue ball, on the outer surface with platinum, palladium and other precious metals. Therefore, must be careful when installing, avoid broke the probe.

(5) of the gas density is different, indoor probe installation position should also be different. Measured gas density is less than the density of air, the probe shall be installed outside the 30 cm away from the roof, down direction. On the other hand, the probe shall be installed at 30 cm away from the ground, upwards.

(6) the outdoor sensor can be installed according to the measured the density of the gas installation height, and choose to pay special attention to the point that the probe shall be installed in the leeward.

(7) alarm circuit connecting cable to protect casing, probe the connection place of the best metal hose, and pay attention to in line with factory explosion-proof level.

(8) after the installation and debugging, make sure you pack waterproof breathable cover, lest the rain into the damage to the probe.

The use of gas alarm and maintenance methods

(1) detecting element and the service life of the compensating element is usually 3-5 years. Under the condition of conditions of use and maintain correctly, can prolong its service life.

(2) to have a test button alarm, should press the test button once a week, check whether the alarm system is normal. Once every 2 months should check calibration alarm of zero and range.

(3) often should check whether there is any accident on detector into the water. Detector vent hood in instrument testing, should remove cleaning, to prevent clogging.

(4) detector for flameproof explosion-proof device, shall not be used in beyond the prescribed scope. The detector shall not be used in place of sulfur. Detector should be in combustible gas concentration is lower than the lower explosive limit as far as possible under the conditions of use, otherwise, may burn out elements.

(5) hotline type semiconductor detector shall not be used under the condition of hypoxia. Do not use large amounts of combustible gas sensor.
