Which position can't install carbon monoxide alarm

    At the time of installation of carbon monoxide alarm must be installed a reasonable position, in some places can not be installed.

Do not install the carbon monoxide alarm in the garage, the kitchen or furnace room, in the garage, car exhaust will contain some carbon monoxide. To start the engine when the carbon monoxide concentration is higher, will cause alarm. Places, such as kitchen, furnace room in brief, high concentrations of carbon monoxide is normal, if you put the alarm installed too close to the the fuel-consuming appliances, may often send out alarm;

Do not install in dusty or greasy, like kitchen, garage. Oil, dirt or household chemicals can damage the alarm sensor head, the alarm doesn´t work;

Don´t jam alarm vents. The alarms will not blocked by a curtain, furniture or other object;

Do not install where air does not flow, such as vaulted ceilings or pointed at the top of the roof, installation of high carbon monoxide alarm will not be able to sound an alarm in time;

Do not install near to outside the doors and Windows, and fresh air vent near or any other place with good ventilation. Rapid cycling air from the fan or outdoor fresh air affects the response of alarm;

Do not install in a temperature below 4 ℃ or more than 38 ℃, these places including room, attic, corridors and garage. Extreme temperature will affect the sensitivity of carbon monoxide gas alarm.
